Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

How we keep data fair, stable, and reliable for everyone.

What does Fair Usage Policy (FUP) mean?

Some of our data plans include a Fair Usage Policy to ensure a consistent experience for all users. Once you reach your daily or total high-speed data limit (for example, 1GB or 2GB), your connection remains active at a lower speed.

What happens after I use my high-speed data?

After you’ve reached your high-speed data allowance, your plan will continue at reduced speeds — typically around 1Mbps or 2Mbps. This level supports everyday tasks like web browsing, email, messaging apps, and standard-definition streaming. However, activities such as HD video, gaming, or large file downloads may slow down or buffer.

Why are my speeds reduced?

Speed reductions are part of fair network management. They help maintain stable performance across all users, especially during busy network hours. Everyone shares the same bandwidth fairly, ensuring no single user impacts the quality for others.

Are these slower speeds guaranteed?

Reduced speeds represent the maximum achievable under the FUP and may vary depending on network traffic and location. During peak usage periods, speeds might temporarily drop below 1Mbps as we balance access across all users.

Can I remove or bypass the FUP?

No, FUP is automatically applied to plans that include it. If you prefer uninterrupted high-speed data, you can choose one of our higher-cap plans that offer a larger daily or total allowance.
